Happy Birthday from the GOP

I realized today that the Republican National Convention is going to be going on during my birthday (Sept 2nd). Maybe this is a sign I am getting older - I turn 26 and the world gives me a city full of Republicans... not that I am complaining, but why couldn't it be the All Star Game, a Web 2.0 convention, or even the 10th annual convention of gypsy pirates? As an aside, some coworkers are coming to town to cover the convention and are looking for places to stay. If you know of any rad bed and breakfasts within the 494/694 loop with reasonably easy access to the Xcel, let me know. It will score me karma points. St. Paul is not my town and I don't really know what there is there. Fail.
