Let's Hear it For the Boy

I just want to publicly express a bit of admiration and pride for my little brother Matt. I found out yesterday that he is going to  Atlanta in June for the FBLA Nationals.  His team  took first place in regionals and second place at state competition this previous weekend. They move on to compete with 100 other teams from around the country in mid June. I've been trying to help Matt get his ducks in a row since he wants to get into the Carlson School of Management at the U of M for Fall 2009. CSOM is notoriously hard to get into straight out of highschool, and nearly impossibly to transfer into. His GPA is better than mine when I graduated but his class rank is a lot less - There are 5 kids with 4.0GPAs in his grade, eeek. Anywho, the Institute of Technology at the U was a lot easier to get into than CSOM. However, I think he will be fine. 2 trips to State for FBLA, once to nationals, NHS, Football and Track. I think he has some other additional civic duty stuff too. Anywho, good job Matt. You rock the casbah.
